through The Girl's blog i found this new one from the male (or, three males) perspective, called Todger Talk. it's funny, witty and a great forum where men can talk honestly and openly about sex and relationships.
there was a particular post today on todger talk that i felt like was written just for me, given my recent experience with youngin'. click on the link and let me know what you think! i definitely do agree with the statment though that "in most people's minds masculine man = male chauvinist pig" when this doesn't have to be the case!
guys: you can be masculine without being an asshole.

i don't know if i so much agree with men taking the lead and all that nonsense (actually, i know i disagree) but i dislike when people are wussy in general and think everyone (men and women) should be able to step up and take the lead. men, take the lead as long as you respect that women can/will/should too. i'd hate for men to start thinking that as long as they are not a male chauvinist pig (i.e. overt forms of sexism) that they are somehow devoid of male privilege and all the ways it is expressed (often more covert/subsconscious too). i've dated guys or had guy friends who have pissed me off for taking at me (instead of with me.. 'taking the lead' in a convo?), or acting protective just cuz i'm female (chivalry of a sort), or other stuff like that. i like having doors opened for me and chairs pulled out, but don't do it cuz you're a guy and i'm a woman.. do it cuz you're a considerate guy who also opens the door for your brother and pulls the chair out for your guy friend. nah mean?
that said, i like the 'frienditis' thing.. so funny! i can think of a few male friends who might wanna peep this article.. :)
er.. that should say "...pissed me off for TALKING at me.."
